Volunteers Needed

Volunteers Needed!

It's crunch time and we need the help of as many hands at once as possible.  This week we are specifically working on the performing arts rooms including the black box theatre and the dance studios. We need help to finish the painting, laying down the new dance floors and the wood floor in the black box. If you have a power drill and know how to use it, all the better.   These are larger scale projects and we need a group of people. (Not to mention that it is a whole lot more fun to work with a team, right?)

Volunteers ages 12 and all the way up are needed!

Wednesday, July 1st9-5Painting dance studios, cleaning/prepping black box floor
Thursday, July 2nd9-5Laying Dance floors, prepping black box floor, painting
Friday, July 3rd9-5Laying Dance floors, Laying Black box floor, painting
Monday, July 6th9-5Laying Dance floors, Laying Black box floor, painting black box, painting

Other jobs needed are general pick up, cleaning, hanging shelves, installing counter top, etc.

Hope to see you! Thanks so much.

DaySpring is Moving!

We are proud to announce that our new facility is almost ready to open!  Our new location, just across Dorsett at 2500 Metro Blvd., more than quadruples our space.  This immediately allows for dedicated department space, room for growth and new programs, a black box theatre for the use of our students and others in the community and more of a permanent presence in the immediate communiyt and the Metro St. Louis region.  Future plans include a theatre.

Be on the lookout for special events soon to celebrate this milestone!

You can also check out our facebook page for regular updates on our progress.
