Adaptive Needs Ballet
This introductory movement class focuses on building coordination and familiarizing dancers with the structure of ballet class. Sensory sensitivities and adaptive needs will be taken into account to provide a rewarding experience for young dancers. Students will build and strengthen sensory-motor and auditory processing skills by learning fun dance movements in a relaxed atmosphere.
Students have the option of performing in a short demonstration showcasing the skills learned in this class as part of DaySpring’s annual Finale in June. If you are interested in performing in Finale, you must be registered for the Spring II Session with your costume deposit paid ($35) by March 21st.
Class capacity is limited and requires a brief intake assessment.
