Dance Discoverers ∞
Dance is an art form that tells stories and expresses ideas in new and interesting ways, by fusing all styles of technique with everyday movements and experiences. In this class, students will draw from their own unique skill sets and day-to-day lives to explore the various facets of dance as an art form.

Suzuki Violin 2
This is a group class experience for students who are in Suzuki Violin School Book 1 and/or have previously been enrolled in violin class/lessons at DaySpring. Students will continue to solidify and build upon their skills in tone production, fine motor movements, posture, and executive function, as well as basic music-reading.
- Purchase of Suzuki Violin Book 1 CD and a rental instrument are required, and enrollment in private lessons is strongly recommended.

Students will be able to explore a variety of different media and create projects that reflect individualism, creativity, and technical skills. Projects will be multi-week and will be given in a particular unit of media including bookmaking, drawing, painting, printmaking, and ceramics. This class will encourage learning technical skill while maintaining creativity and lots of fun!

Young singers will develop basic vocal skills, experience ensemble singing of different styles of music, learn basic music reading skills, experience part singing, and find the joy of singing together with friends. Older students with signing experience will expand the horizons of their own musical development. This experience can be a springboard to further advancement in Musical Theater and other vocal ensemble performance opportunities.

Ballet 2 ∞
Ballet 2 students progress to holding the barre with one hand, while centre work introduces an array of new steps built on steps previously learned in Ballet 1. Focus is given to building a strong technical foundation, learning the 9 Body Positions, waltzing, and understanding ballet terminology. -This class is offered as part of our Classical Ballet Program and requires registration in a corequisite class.
