GIVING TUESDAY 2020
What is
Giving Tuesday?
December 1, 2020
Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving and unity. Giving Tuesday is recognized as an opportunity for people and communities to come together in the spirit of generosity.
While Black Friday and Cyber Monday are recognized as days of spending, Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to donate—your time, your talent or your passion to transform your community.
As a global movement, the event is designed to inspire people and communities to come together at a time of the year when we can collectively reflect on those in need.
HOW YOUR DONATIONS WILL HELP:
This GivingTuesday, DaySpring will be raising money for Scholarships!
Many of our families rely on scholarships, and as you can imagine this year that is even more true!

WHY SUPPORT DAYSPRING?
"I love DaySpring because of the community. As a parent I have friends who understand and support me and as a teacher I see the students coming up alongside and supporting each other as well. We celebrate each other’s successes and encourage each other as we grow.
- April McCandless, Alum/Staff/Parent
At DaySpring I know my children are loved and treasured by their teachers.
My children know it too!"
"I’m so thankful for my 14 years at DaySpring. I look back fondly on my time at DaySpring and all the wonderful relationships I made. This school set the foundation for who I am as a person and artist today. I was taught professionalism and how push myself—all in comfortable and encouraging environment. There are so many skills and pieces of wisdom my teachers gave me that I’m using right now in college."
- Abby Jeschke, Alum
"I choose to work at DaySpring because of the supportive and collaborative atmosphere, high quality of art education, and dedication to always putting the students first."
- Claire Ward, Teacher
"I received excellent training and individualized attention at Dayspring. I was thoroughly prepared for a career in the arts. As a dance instructor, I hope to give my students that same experience."
- Mary Clermont, Teacher/Alum
"I greatly appreciate that Dayspring Academy encourages and provides opportunities for students of different ages, “grades”, abilities, and skill levels to interact with each other. I feel there is great benefit to this, both academically and socially. Also, in the area of the arts, there are so many class options and such a variety of opportunities for students interested in practicing and studying the arts, all led by talented and experienced teachers; and it’s all in one place!"
- Laura Roberts, Parent/Staff
"DaySpring was pivotal in providing the foundation I needed to pursue my career in the arts. I am so grateful to the faculty and staff for creating a environment that fostered not only my skills but my confidence and character as well!"
- Ashley Shaefer, Teacher
