Claire Ward
Claire Ward is a dedicated teacher, director and administrator with over ten years of professional performing and teaching experience. She trained in Los Angeles, California, in ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, hip hop and musical theater, and competed on a national dance competition team for eight years. She holds a BFA in Ballet Performance from the University of Oklahoma School of Dance and a Masters of Science degree in Fitness Management from Missouri Baptist University. While completing her degrees, Claire danced professionally with companies including Radio City, Oklahoma Festival Ballet, Louisville Ballet, Missouri Ballet Theatre, and Common Thread Contemporary Ballet. In addition to her work at DaySpring, Claire is an Adjunct Dance Professor, Choreographer, and Competitive Dance Coach at Missouri Baptist University. She is also a certified personal trainer, mat pilates and yoga instructor, and incorporates her knowledge from these certifications in her programming and teaching. Claire is honored to serve DaySpring Arts and Education as the Programming Coordinator, teacher in the Dance Department, and the Artistic Director of the Fall Ballet production.
