Kelly Hobbs

Kelly has been involved with theater her entire life. She graduated from Washington University with a degree in acting, however, she learned through her experiences that she preferred directing, writing and technical theater. She has directed shows such as And Then There Were None, The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, Bye Bye Birdie, Arsenic and Old Lace, Twelfth Night and Fiddler on the Roof. In 2015 she and her family moved to Monroe, LA where she became heavily involved with a youth theater there called SYAA. While at SYAA, she taught acting and improv classes, wrote 12 camp scripts and 4 full length comedy shows, directed 7 mainstage shows, and volunteered to tech for another 20 shows. She loves all aspects of theater from acting to lighting/set design to crafting the perfectly timed sight gag. She is happy to be back in St. Louis following God’s lead to her next big theater adventure.
