suzuki beginners club
An introduction to the movement of teaching violin that has proven successful for many years for young students and their parents. Students learn the fundamentals of posture, instrument care, relaxed movement, and tone production. Parental involvement is essential at the beginning stage, and should be able to commit to daily practice with their child. An introductory meeting will educate parents about Suzuki philosophy, and give them tools to help them effectively carry out their role as a practicing parents at home.
Required materials are Suzuki Volume 1 book and CD, and a rental instrument.
Saxophone ensembles give a life to music like no other instrument! It's brashy sound works for jazz, rock, and even classical music for all levels of players! Join the club once a week this summer and explore its versatility with other players. Learn some new tools for your trade while building on fundamentals like tuning, sight-reading, and quality musicianship.

Learn to play this simple island instrument as a beginner or add to you guitar skills this summer. Parents and kids together are welcome to participate! Ages *For children 8 & up-Parents may sign up to join their children.
Guitar beginners class
Guitar class is the perfect place to learn music on your own instrument in an encouraging group setting. This class will focus on music reading fundamentals as well as chord playing from the start. Students will have fun playing familiar songs together in an ensemble and will be invited to perform on the end of summer recital in August! Guitar needed.
