Parental involvement is essential at the beginning stage, and should be able to commit to daily practice with their child. **Required materials are Suzuki Volume 1 book and CD, and a rental instrument.

A group class experience for students who are in Book 1 of the Suzuki Violin Method and/or have previously been enrolled in class/lessons at DaySpring. Students will learn beginning theory/note reading concepts, learn supplemental repertoire and have fun playing as a group! Building community and working together will be the key concepts of this class.

Come play with us! In this class, we will learn the basic concepts of rhythm, tone and posture through songs and games. Parents are encouraged to participate with their child, as the activities will help you bond with your child and help you to be prepared to help with practice assignments at home. A rental instrument is recommended but not required.
