PERFORMING ARTS CAMPS
Week-long intensives in performance, technical theatre, & everything in between!
TECHNICAL THEATRE
Ages 12+
In our summer tech theatre session, students will be an integral part of our summer season. Students will help our technical designers in all aspects including lighting, set construction, sound, stage management, and theater setup. Training continues backstage and within the performance space where they will participate as the stage crew.
Daytime calls for Tech Rehearsal: 9am-4pm- June 26-28, July 17-19, July 31-Aug 2
***No class on July 4th
MINI MUSICAL REVUE
Ages 7-12
This is a great starting point for budding performers to have an introduction to all things musical theatre! Through acting, singing, and dancing, this camp will help students grow in confidence, communication, and cooperation all while having a lot of fun performing songs and scenes from a musical!
SHOWSTOPPERS JR.
Ages 8-13
Are you ready to step outside of your comfort zone to take your artistry to the next level? This week-long intensive offers performing arts students an opportunity to sharpen their skills and expand their “toolbox” by learning new ones!
This half day camp can be combined with another half day camp to make a full day with a supervised lunch period. Lunch not provided.
SHORT FILM CAMP
Ages 10+
Bring creativity and critical thinking together in short film camp! This is your chance to create from both sides of the camera as you learn film acting skills and how to be a videographer. Go through the full design process as you make your own short films this week!
CREATE YOUR OWN COMEDY!
Ages 12+
Join us for a week-long intensive comedic acting camp that will end in a FULL LENGTH SHOW! Not only that, you will be a part of developing the characters, plot and dialogue for your very own Comedy Murder Mystery. Director Kelly Hobbs has 25+ years of teaching and directing and will help students develop their comedic chops and give ownership of truly making a character their own.
Additional brainstorm session June 8th from 9am-12pm.
