Position Summary
STEAM Camp Counselor Job Description
Looking for a fun and rewarding summer job? DaySpring is seeking responsible camp counselors for Summer STEAM camps. Duties would include overseeing students during break periods and lunch, assisting teachers in classes as needed, and developing small crafts/activities for students as needed. Availability will need to be 8:45am-4:15pm, Monday-Friday. Additional availability for before and after care may be necessary. Compensation starts at minimum wage.

STEAM Teacher Job Description
Dayspring is looking for instructors for our summer STEAM camps in music, dance, fine arts, science, engineeringing, literacy, and theatre. This part-time position will be responsible for the planning and execution of classes in themed weeks of summer camps. Schedule varies depending on weekly camp schedule, but would generally be 5-12 hours per week. Compensation starts at $20/hr and is based on experience.

Position Summary
We are looking for a friendly, detail oriented, organized professional to serve as our Building Manager in a creative environment. It is important that our Building Manager is courteous, helpful and professional in all interactions. This position has a significant role in the operations of DaySpring. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow standard procedures.
Reports to: Operations Director Hours: Year-long position, 15-20 hours per week

TECHNICAL THEATRE MANAGER

Position Summary
DaySpring Arts and Education is a nonprofit school of the arts with 9 major productions in our season including, theatre, dance, and musical theatre. In addition, we have other small showcases, music recitals, events, and outside rentals. The Technical Theatre Manager is responsible for managing all technical aspects of DaySpring events. This role will plan, direct, and supervise the technical operations of DaySpring’s Black Box Theatre, including maintenance and long-term planning for all technical systems and theatrical equipment.
Responsibilities

Lead technical person for productions and outside rentals of Black Box.

Assist all designers, carpenters, and technicians as needed.

Communicate with technical personnel for cohesive design and execution.

Manage onsite Black Box Theater including installation of set, risers, pipe and drape, wings, etc. during productions and rentals.

DaySpring scene shop and theatrical inventory manager
-
Responsible for transportation, load in and strike of set. Supervise students, parents, and volunteers during load in and strike.

Communicate technical progress to producer, director, and tech teacher.
