About DaySpring Arts

DaySpring Arts & Education is a non-profit organization located in Maryland Heights, with two divisions: the School of the Arts and an Accredited Pre-K through 12th grade Christian Academy. We have a unique and creative environment where students become well-equipped in the discipline of the performing and fine arts as well as skills in academics.

Position Summary

DaySpring is seeking an experienced and energetic instructor to teach our Music Discoverers class for 5-6 year olds.  These classes foster students’ creativity and knowledge of basic musical concepts while introducing them to music from different cultures around the world. Familiarity with Orff and/or Kodaly methods preferred. Position responsibilities will be 2.5 hours per week on Friday mornings at $25-30 per hour, with optional performances throughout the year.

Position Summary

DaySpring is seeking an experienced and energetic Piano Instructor.  A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in music is required, masters preferred. Compensation ranges from $34-43 per hour, based upon qualifications and experience.

About DaySpring Arts

We have a unique and creative environment where students become well-equipped in the discipline of the performing and fine arts as well as skills in academics.

Position Summary

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in theatrical lighting design and familiarity with lighting controls

  • Experience with creative process and the development of a cohesive design, and ability to collaborate with other designers and directors

  • Ability to lift over 50lbs

  • Must be able to work onsite

  • Degree in technical theatre/lighting design or equivalent professional experience

  • Evening and weekend availability during tech week

  • Familiarity with ETCnomad lighting software

  • Experience in an educational setting is preferred 

  • DaySpring Arts and Education is seeking a creative lighting designer for our 22-23 season. Contracts can be per production or for multiple. We will have 9 student productions from January through August 2023.
