Give your dramatic child the training, focus and outlet that he or she absolutely needs! Involvement in the arts challenge and develop all children but training those with that creative bent develops much needed self-control and discipline. High standards are set, and training motivates students to reach for their goals. They will gain important theatrical and performance skills, as well as experience, developing character traits and life skills along the way. They develop pride in their accomplishments, at the same time having been taught humility by encouraging and supporting one another. Self-confidence builds as they present themselves in the theatre or on the stage of life. Preparation and responsibility are learned from the start to the end of a project, while they learn to focus, listen, watch and think!
Performing Arts Taster
This class introduces students to the performing arts by focusing on storytelling through acting, singing, and dancing! Through games, skits, and activities, students will explore movement, music basics, and using expressions with their bodies and voices to tell stories. Special topics include introductions to costumes, props, and basic circus skills. This class is designed to help students grow in confidence, communication, and cooperation all while having a lot of fun performing!
Parents are invited to observe class during our special Observation Week in the Spring.
These classes perform in Fall Showcase and the all school recital, Finale, in June.

Musical Theatre Performance Workshop
An introduction to the world of musical theatre for the young performer in your family! Your young actor will receive high-quality training in voice, dance, and drama for musical theatre, learning techniques such as vocal projection, stage presence, and character development. This skill-building class will culminate in a performance at the end of the year, comprised of songs and scenes from musicals for friends and family to enjoy!
These classes perform in Fall Showcase and a Black Box Show in the spring.

Musical Theatre Ensemble
This class gives fun, foundational training in singing, acting, and dancing! Using new and traditional musical theatre material, students will enhance their performance techniques by developing their stage presence, movement, and vocal projection. This class will hit the ground running by reviewing and learning some new theatre basics and combine what they learn into a piece they will perform in the Fall Showcase. They will then transition into “production mode” and start rehearsing for their Spring Musical. The class will then shift focus to continue their Musical Theatre training which will culminate in a group number in Finale in June.
Musical Theatre 1
This class gives fun, foundational training in singing, acting, dancing and performance technique. Voice production and projection will be developed as well as movement, choreograph and stage presence with new & traditional musical theatre material. This class will begin by working on a musical in September, perform a piece in the Fall Showcase, and present their musical at the start of the new year.
After the musical, class focus will shift to training in specific performance techniques, such as audition preparation and solo/small group performance techniques with an in class presentation at the end of the year,
as well as performing a group number in Finale in June.
Musical Theatre 2
At this crucial time in their development, this class is a fun and challenging training ground for the young teen musical theatre performer! Students will receive training in singing, acting, dancing, plus performance technique through working on material from traditional and modern musicals. Vocal work and projection, physicality, acting skills, choreography, stage presence, and much more will be covered in this fast paced class!
This class will perform in Fall Showcase, Finale, and a musical in the spring.
**Prerequisite required: Musical Theatre 1 or equivalent Musical Theatre experience by Instructor Approval
**Musical Theatre Techniques 2 is available as a second class by audition or invitation for students enrolled in MT2.
Musical Theatre 3
This class is a focused training ground for the mid/late high school musical theatre performer ready to hone their skills. Students receive training in singing, acting, dancing and performance technique through working on traditional and modern musical theatre material. Work in voice production and projection, physicality, acting skills, choreography, stage presence and more will be addressed.
This class will perform in Fall Showcase, Finale, and a musical in the late spring.
*Students in the 14 year old transition year will be placed, after discussion between parents and teachers, in the class that best benefits the individual and the class as a whole.
**Prerequisite required: Musical Theater 2 or equivalent Musical Theatre experience by Instructor Approval
**Musical Theatre 3 Techniques is available as a second class by audition or invitation for students enrolled in MT3.
Musical Theatre Techniques
This class is a second class for serious musical theater students who would like to be challenged with individualized training in solos and small groups with vocal & dramatic emphasis and the potential for more performance opportunities. Students in this class are expected to work on assignments at home each week. Class enrollment is determined by audition or invitation only and class size is limited to 12 students. Students must also be enrolled in MT2 or MT3. Please contact the office if your student would like to audition for this class. The price is already discounted and isn’t included in the multi class discount.
Musical Theatre Dance Bootcamp
Ages 14 & up
Including Intro to Tap!
Highly recommended for students in Musical Theatre 3, drama students, and other beginning teen dancers. This class is designed to give a foundation in dance to students with little to no dance training. Jazz and modern basics will be covered, as well as, an intro to tap skills and vocabulary. Material is presented at an accelerated pace in order to function as a springboard for further study.
Accelerated Beginning Ballet
Ages 12 & up
This class for older beginners will be an intensive introduction to classical ballet technique. Focus will be on repetition and correct alignment in order to build correct coordination and muscle memory, and basic theory and terminology will be incorporated into each class.
